FoafDowntime

From W3C Wiki

(note from Dan Brickley, 2009-04-26)

Several of the FOAF Project Web sites are offline due to a security breach of the server they are hosted at on Dreamhost. The sites have temporarily been redirected here. Status updates will be sent to the foaf-dev and foaf-protocols lists which continue to function from a different machine.

Compromised sites include www.foaf-project.org, rdfweb.org and the personal site, danbri.org.

Subversion archives of the core files are safe, and the sites will be restored ASAP. In the meantime, the following links may be useful:

See also WWW2009 presentation from danbri on the topic of hacked openid and schema sites.

If anyone has the time and resources to help with future maintainance of the FOAF sites, please get in touch with Dan (danbri@danbri.org). Thanks!
