W3C Semantic Web for Health Care and Life Sciences Interest Group
The Semantic Web Health Care and Life Sciences Interest Group is designed to improve collaboration, research and development, and innovation adoption in the health care and life science industries. Aiding decision-making in clinical research, Semantic Web technologies will bridge many forms of biological and medical information across institutions.

Workshop Format
The meeting will consist of presentations that provide an overview to HCLS and the ongoing tasks. There will be active discussion sessions that focus on controversial topics. In addition, high quality presentations will be selected from the community that focus on the application of the Semantic Web to life sciences and/or health care.
Topics of Interest
We invite presentation proposals that focus on the application of the Semantic Web to life sciences and/or health care. The emphasis of the presentation should be on real world implementations, that include the value proposition for the Semantic Web based implementation.
