End User Empowerment

Proposal

There is an increasing trend towards end users becoming more empowered. This movement started with the development of Web 2.0 capabilities, but has the potential to become more powerful with the Semantic Web. This project could focus on demonstrating how simple it is for power scientists to use Exhibit to integrate small ad-hoc data sets together to create almost instantaneous benefits. The Exhibit family of software is already being used by some pharmaceutical companies, e.g. Pfizer.
