Meeting Notes
Meeting discussed
- status of bibliographic citation alignment
- status of rhetorical document model
- addition of discourse+experiment+data task
Decisions
- add integration of PRISM to bibliographic citation alignment task, because it is "universally used" in scientific publishing at least on commercial sites
- rhetorical structure task to focus on coarse-grained rhetorical structure to support text mining and entity identification
- discourse+experiment+data is joint task with BioRDF MicroArray Use Case task (Kei Cheung et al.). Sudeshna Das will chair this task.
Announcement
- we are moving back to a standard time for all Scientific Discourse calls, which will be allocated in rotation between the subtask teams.
